Day 1

Zambia, Lusaka

Airport Arrival Day.

After being welcomed at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation in South Lusaka.

Upon arrival you will be greeted with a complimentary welcome drink and checked into your room. Your comfortable accommodation is nestled between lush green gardens and has an inviting bar and swimming pool area for you to relax in.

You are free to spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

There will be a group meeting in the Conference Centre at 6pm to give you an opportunity to meet your Tour Representative and fellow travellers.  After a short briefing on your upcoming tour, you will then head to the lodge restaurant where you can enjoy your first group dinner under it's beautiful thatched roofing.

Day 2

Lusaka - Chirundu - Lower Zambezi National Park

After breakfast we will depart Lusaka and travel down the Zambezi Escarpment to our first stop on the banks of the Lower Zambezi River, where you will enjoy a light lunch and ice cold refreshments by the pool overlooking the river.

We will then board the river boat and embark on a Safari Game Cruise down the beautiful Zambezi River. There will be plenty of opportunity to sight incredible wildlife. Elephants, pods of hippopotamuses, birdlife, the odd crocodile sunbathing on the river bank and much much more...

Once you have arrived at your luxurious 5 Star accommodation that is situated in the Game Management Area of Lower Zambezi, you will have a chance to freshen up and relax by the pool.

Tonight we will head into the African Bush where you can enjoy a candlelit dinner under the stars.

Day 3

Lower Zambezi National Park

Today you will head off on an early morning Game Drive Safari through the Lower Zambezi National Park, before returning for lunch.

The afternoon is free for you to spend at your own leisure with a chance to relax by the pool and take in the tranquil African Bush surrounding you.

Optional Activities - Canoeing, Walking Safari, River Boat Safari.

Afterwards there will be an evening Game Drive Safari back into the Lower Zambezi National Park. Followed by dinner back at the lodge.

Day 4

Lower Zambezi National Park - Chirundu

This morning we will take an early morning Game Drive Safari through the Lower Zambezi National Park, before returning for breakfast.

After breakfast you will board the river boat and head back up the Zambezi River with another opportunity to see some of the amazing wildlife along the banks of the river.

En route to your next destination you will get the chance to sit on the sand banks of the Zambezi River whike enjoying a cold drink and a delicious charcuterie board lunch.

We then take a short boat ride back to our lodge where you will be checked into your very comfortable accommodation, with time to freshen up and relax by the pool overlooking the river.

For dinner tonight you will enjoy a three course meal outside as he sun sets over the beautiful Zambezi River.

At night you can hear hippopotamuses gruntng in the distance and occasionally the lion roaring and hyenas whooping from the Zimbabwean side of the river! A truly unique experience.

Day 5

Chirundu - Kariba Dam - Siavonga - Lusaka

After breakfast we will depart Chirundu and head off to Siavonga to visit Lake Kariba, the world's largest man-made lake by volume. Here you will get the opportunity to walk across the historical Kariba Dam wall to take in the spectacular views of the Zambezi River Valley.

We then take a short drive to Siavonga where you will get to enjoy your lunch overlooking magnificent Lake Kariba, with some local food on the menu such as fresh water bream and crayfish.

After lunch we will board the bus and head back to Lusaka to your 4 Star accommodation, with time to freshen up and relax. Dinner will be a fine wine tasting and pairing experience at the lodge.

Day 6

Lusaka - Livingstone

After breakfast you will be taken to Lusaka Airport to board your short domestic flight to Livingstone. Then transferred to your accommodation, with time to freshen up before lunch on the deck overlooking the river.

You will then get to experience a Guided Walking Safari with the White Rhinos in the Mosi O Tunya National Park.

Later that evening  you will be taking a Sunset River Cruise on the Lady Livingstone above the Victoria Falls, with snacks and refreshments.

You will disembark at the David Livingstone Hotel where you can relax and enjoy your dinner.

Day 7

Livingstone

After breakfast we will go to the Makuni Village Tour where you can learn about the Leya people's cultural traditions, origins and beliefs. The Chief invites visitors into his village, so you can gain valuable knowledge of how an African village is run.

We then take a jet boat ride to the Elephant Cafe where you will have the opportunity to spend some time feeding and playing with the elephants in their uncaged environment. One of the many highlights of your tour. Followed by a superb 5 course lunch.

After your lunch you will be taken to view the exquisite and powerful Victoria Falls from the Zambian side.

You will then return to your lodge to freshen up and enjoy a cold drink overlooking the sensational ‘Smoke that Thunder’s’ view. Dinner will be a drum and dance experience known as the Mukuni Boma Dinner.

​Day 8

Livingstone - Botswana

After breakfast you will venture across the boarder into Botswana to take a River Boat Safari Cruise along the Chobe River before arriving for lunch at one of Botswana's many riverbank hotels.

Next up is an exhilarating  Safari Game Drive through the Chobe National Park, densely packed with an abundance of wildlife. Where sightings of elephants, lions, buffalo, zebra, kudu, giraffe, sable, and impala are common.

We then cross back over the border back into Livingstone, in time for you evening dinner back at you accommodation.

​Day 9

Livingstone - Zimbabwe, Hwange

This morning you will have the opportunity to take a swim in the Devil's Pool on the side of the Victoria Falls. (August - December)

After Breakfast we will cross over the border into Zimbabwe and make our way to Hwange National Park. Where you will be checked into your accommodation, with time to freshen up before lunch.

The afternoon is free for you to spend at your own leisure with a chance to relax by the pool with a cold drink.

Later we will be heading off on an evening Safari Game Drive in the Hwange National Park. A perfect opportunity to spot the wildlife feeding at the various waterholes. We then return to our accommodation for dinner.

Day 10

Hwange - Victoria Falls

This morning you will take an Early Morning Game Drive through the Kazuma Depression in Hwange National Park, before returning to your lodge.

After breakfast we then drive to Victoria Falls where you will be checked into your accommodation with time to freshen up before lunch at The Three Monkeys Restaurant and Bar.

You will then have an opportunity to wander around the local Craft Market, before we head to the Victoria Falls Hotel to enjoy an indulgent High Tea on the Stanley Terrace. Overlooking the Victoria Falls Bridge surrounded by spray from the waterfalls, known as the 'Queen’s View'.

You will then return to your accommodation with time to freshen up before we go to the Dusty Road Township Experience for dinner. With its fun and funky atmosphere and the opportunity to taste a variety of delicious local foods.

​Day 11

Victoria Falls

After breakfast you have a free morning to spend as you wish. There are many exciting Activities that you can choose from as well.

Optional Activities: Jet Boat Ride. Bridge Swing, White Water Rafting, Zip Lining, Snake Park, Canoeing, Bungee Jumping and much more. Or you can choose to explore the Victoria Falls Township.

You will get to enjoy your lunch today at The Lookout Cafe where you can take in the beautiful views overlooking the Batoka Gorge.

After Lunch we will take a walk around the Zimbabwean side of the magnificent Victoria Falls. With its huge volume of water flowing over its cliffs, making for a truly mesmerising experience. We then return to our accommodation with time to freshen up.

This afternoon you will board the Bamba Tram Experience where a tiny Tram will take you along the Masuwe River through the Jafuta Private Game Reserve in the Zambezi National Park. Dinner will be served at the Jafuta Siding where you can admire the African sunset while  enjoying a 3 course meal under the stars.

Day 12

Victoria Falls

Following breakfast this morning we head to the Lion Encounter Experience. Where you will get to see the lions feeding up close. Then afterwards take a scenic drive through the teak forest which is home to a pride of 5 lions.

We will have our lunch at the River Brewing Company, which specialises in different ales and beers which are made from locally sourced fruits, as well as fine wines and spirits.

You have a free afternoon to spend as you wish. Relax by the pool or choose one of the many exciting activities available.

Optional Activities: Jet Boat Ride, Bridge Swing, White Water Rafting, Zip Lining, Snake Park, Canoeing, Bungee Jumping and much more. Or you can choose to explore the Victoria Falls Township.

Tonight you will dine at The Eatery Restaurant. This will be on the banks of the Zambezi River, with many different varieties of Potjies (Southern African cooking method in cast iron pots slow cooked over a fire) on offer for you to try.

​Day 13

Victoria Falls

After breakfast you will be taking the famous 'Flight of Angels' helicopter ride over the magnificent Victoria Falls. Offering breath taking views of the falls and surrounding area.

You will then head off to board the Re-Ikane Luxury Lunch Cruise on the Zambezi River above the Falls.

We then return to our accommodation with time to relax by the pool. After we we head off to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge where you can enjoy a drink while the sun sets over the stunning landscape and watering hole.

For our final dinner of the tour, tonight you will go to a Traditional Boma Dinner and Drum Show. Where you can experience African festivities and cultural traditions, as well as local dishes.

​Day 14

Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls

Airport Departure Day.
Breakfast.

Today you will be picked up from your Accommodation by our Shuttle Service and transported to Victoria Falls International Airport for your return flight home.
